I came across this docuseries on Comedian and Actress Yvonne Orji’s Instagram page recently and wasn’t disappointed. This 13-part series looks at Nigerian creatives and their contribution to the global landscape from the continent.
As someone who loves business and enjoys the behind the scenes insights into how people innovate, this was a great show. It made me a little nostalgic for a life where I could be on the continent and live well, experience the culture and be amongst my people.
Each artist talks about their discipline whether that’s product design, architecture, interior design etc and takes the audience on a journey through their lives and careers.
It was refreshing to see Black African talent in this way and I’m not sure I have before. A really interesting series. Go watch it now!
