Strategic Creative Director

Creative Direction for Personal Brand Photography

Overview
I have led personal brand shoots for founders, creatives and cultural figures who need more than just good pictures. My role is to help them translate their purpose, positioning and presence into strong, thoughtful visuals that reflect who they really are.

Role and Responsibilities
Each project begins with a consultation to understand the client’s values, goals and visual tone. I develop a creative concept, build moodboards, select and brief the photographer, find suitable locations, source a makeup artist if needed, and oversee the creative direction on the day of the shoot. My focus is on making the images feel intentional, aligned and powerful.

Highlights
I have directed shoots for multiple clients including radio presenter Angie Greaves, Grammy-nominated MC Tippa Irie, publisher Valarie Brandes and the founder of World Afro Day, Michelle De Leon. Each project has required a tailored approach, from capturing warmth and relatability to documenting cultural influence. One client told me she had never considered taking professional photos before, but after our work together, she saw the value: “Now I understand they are part of how I show up – not just online, but in myself.”

Impact
Clients walk away with more than images. They leave with clarity, confidence and a visual identity that supports their wider goals. My creative direction is rooted in care, precision and style – always making sure they are seen in the way they want to be.
