So full disclosure, I had a vested interest in this show as one of the producers is a client but I haven’t been so engaged by a programme for a while.
I had read a few online reviews where people had said it was slow… SLOW WHERE EXACTLY PLEASE? BECAUSE EVERY EPISODE WAS A SWIFT UPPER CUT TO THE TEMPLE.
The drama follows the story of mother of three Megan Pierce, whose idyllic family life is disrupted where elements of her past life threaten to derail the new existence she’d built.
I already love leading lady Cush Jumbo, so this made the show already a win. The storyline was filled with so many twists at turns right up until the last frame of the final episode, which was great to have compelling programming after all this time.
