I truly believe the universe is constantly pulling strings to make things happen. A bit like the film Sliding Doors, a myriad of moments happen unbeknownst to us to bring people together.
A few weeks ago I appeared in PR Week writing about Stormzy. I ultimately also appeared on BBC Radio on my friend Devon Daley’s show too for the same reason. I also shared my moodboard that had references to Merky and the team.
Last week I went for lunch at the home of a client and parked my car outside his apartment. I then encouraged my friend and other client Sherece to park in front of me (the white car). We noticed there was filming but nothing that indicated what or who it was for.
Later, a guest came rushing in saying “I swear that’s Stormzy outside!” We rushed to the window and – sure enough – there he was doing a three point turn in this jeep. We all waved, chuffed to see him in the flesh.
Hide and Seek came out in the last couple of days and I went to check it out. Sure enough, randomly, there’s my Juke in the background.
I believe in coincidences but I also believe in fate. I don’t know what’s coming but the paths of Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr. and I seem predestined to cross.
